Most scalp sensitivity is not a condition — it is a reaction to what you are washing with. Mainstream shampoos use Sodium Lauryl Sulphate or Sodium Laureth Sulphate: powerful foaming agents that strip the scalp's natural oils with every wash and push its pH away from its natural level. For a non-sensitive scalp, this causes mild dryness. For a sensitive scalp, it is what keeps the irritation cycling.
This sulphate-free shampoo for men's sensitive scalp is SLS and SLES-free. The surfactant system uses Sodium Coco-Sulfate — a coconut-derived cleanser that produces a proper lather and removes build-up and excess oil without the aggressive stripping action of SLS. Cocamidopropyl Betaine and Coco-Glucoside work alongside it as conditioning co-surfactants that keep the formula gentle on the scalp surface. Citric Acid brings the pH down to match the scalp's natural environment — around 5.5 — so the wash does not cause the pH swing that prolongs irritation.
Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein conditions the hair shaft during the wash phase, helping to reduce breakage and leave hair easier to manage after rinsing. Linden Flower Extract and Jasmine Extract calm the scalp skin.
This shampoo is for scalp health and cleansing. It is not a conditioning product. Pair it with the Citrus Cocktail Conditioner for scalp comfort and hair texture together.
